The collegeboard recently announced that they have canceled the SAT administration planned for June 6th. Any student who previously registered for the June SAT or Subject test(s) will receive a refund. The collegeboard has committed to providing students with test dates in August, September, October, November and December. Roselle Park High School will host the August and October SAT administrations. For additional registration information visit collegeboard.org.
On April 3rd, the collegeboard released updated information regarding the upcoming advanced placement exams. Exams have been revised to about 45 minutes each and will be taken online, at home. The exam window will run from May 11-22 (make-up testing will run from June 1-5). Students will be e-mailed a "credential" along with testing information prior to test day. If a student misses their regularly scheduled exam, they will automatically be sent a new credential for the make-up exams. The collegeboard will be releasing an at home testing guide to provide students with support during testing. Course specific information can be found in a student's AP classroom and on the collegeboard website. Further, students can access daily, online AP classes and review at: https://youtube.com/advancedplacement
AP teachers will be communicating additional information with students when they return from spring break. In the meantime, questions can be directed to Mrs. Bodek at [email protected]. Schools received guidance from the NJDOE late yesterday indicating NJSLA, DLM and ACCESS assessments will be canceled for spring 2020. High School students wishing to take the NJSLA to meet graduation requirements will have the opportunity to do so over the summer. For additional information regarding the cancelation of spring assessments, visit the NJDOE website here.
The Collegeboard has canceled the May SAT test administration date. Registered students will receive a refund. As of this writing, the June 6th SAT administration will still be held. Roselle Park HS will not offer the June administration, therefore, interested students will need to take the exam at another local high school (see the collegeboard website for options). RPHS has added the August 24th test date to their schedule (register on collegeboard.org by July 26th). Students receiving free or reduced lunch are asked to reach out to their counselor for a fee waiver. Full details on the changes to SAT administration dates can be found here.
The CollegeBoard released new information on their website today indicating that students will have the opportunity to take the May AP exams from home on a wireless device. Additional information can be found on the collegeboard website. Collegeboard will be providing additional guidance to schools and students on April 3.
